Powerful Yiddish Song with Polina Shepherd

Course Goals: Come to learn and share Yiddish songs that give us strength and power. We will look deeper into traditional and newly composed songs, as well as songs borrowed from neighbouring cultures that have now become part of the rich Yiddish song canon.
Participants are invited to bring their own songs to the course, as well as learn some material offered by the teacher
All singers are welcome, although you will need to be able to follow written music and/or be open to learning by ear.
