The first day of the JMI Summer Schools and Festival of Music begins with a concert showcasing the wealth in vocal diversity of Yiddish Culture with an international cast of singers and instrumentalists.

The concert will feature: Shura Lipovsky, Lorin Sklamberg, Polina Shepherd and Joseph Finlay

We are inviting the public to sample the Golden Peacock summer school experience with an opening concert by our international faculty, including special guest musicians. There will be recitals of classic and modern Yiddish repertoire as well as instrumental and this will be a unique opportunity to meet the faculty and to experience first hand the quality of Yiddish song that is taught every year at The Golden Peacock.
